Capture screens in many ways
SnagIt/32 lets Windows 95 and NT users capture an entire screen, an individual window, or a user-defined portion of the screen using its friendly Capture Wizard or 'manually' with toolbar and pull-down menu controls and system tray support. Unlike similar programs, SnagIt/32 can also capture the entire contents of a scrolling window. It also accepts input directly from the Windows Clipboard or a .bmp file. Once an image is captured, SnagIt/32 can send it to the printer, the Clipboard, or a graphics file in .bmp, .pcx, .tif, .gif, or .jpg formats. The program also provides MAPI support, allowing you to send captured images in an email messages. Captures can be automatically converted to monochrome or grayscale and dithered. Colors can be boosted and substituted, and image dimensions can be scaled. Several new features were recently added: Text Capture lets you capture only text information on your screen (which really comes in handy when there aren't any cut-and-paste options), and Video Capture allows you to create a 'movie' of events as they happen on your screen and save it as an .avi file.
